  • Basis

    - Inspecting the feet

  • Callus fissures

Sometimes calluses can crack and crack.

  • Schimmel / Hoornnagels

Fungal nail, often has a discolored (yellow-brown), dull and crumbly nail plate. The nail can even become loose. The cause is a fungal infection of the nail. Most sources of infection are the swimming pool, shower and sauna. The pedicure cuts the nail as thin as possible and cleans the area around the nail thoroughly. It is also recommended to treat shoes and socks with a fungicidal powder.

  • Ingrown nails

A nail where the edge or tip of the nail presses into the nail fold and causes pain is the first phase of an ingrown nail. The next phase penetrates the tipping point into the skin and can cause a lot of pain and extensive inflammation. The most common causes are incorrect cutting (too short and / or round corners) or an abnormal shape of the nail. After the pedicure has relieved pressure on the toe, keep an eye on your sore toe. If pain and redness develop, you should take a bath of Biotex three times a week, one drop of betadine iodine daily. This prevents re-inflammation.
